Casamilano was founded in 1998 by Anna, Carlo and Elena Turati's desire. The aim was to create a project of international scope for the home. It made its debut at the Milan Furniture Fair in April of that year. Turati's family, for generations, works in the furnishing field. In 1929 grandfather Carlo founds with his sons, an artisan activity that develops soon into a small furniture company.

In the 60s, following the change of taste and style on the market, Giuseppe (called Peppino by friends) gives to the company a new course, by creating Tisettanta, involving internationally renowned architects such as Gae Aulenti, Vico Magistretti, Angelo Mangiarotti, Carlo Bartoli, Annig Sarian, Antonio Citterio. In the family's Company, Giuseppe's daughter Anna takes care about creative area together with her father, while Carlo takes care about commercial area.


Left family's Company in 1997, Anna, Carlo and Elena decide, the following year, with their father, to create Casamilano, Company that - in years, has been able to impose and develop a selected distribution, with more than 700 sale points all over the World.

Casamilano collaborates with international known designers, whose creative style corresponds to the characteristics of its project: Paola Navone, Laboratorio Avallone, Roberto Lazzeroni, Massimiliano Raggi, Rodolfo Dordoni, Edward Van Vliet, Marco Boga, Enrico Franzolini, Gordon Guillaumier, Studio Opera, Lievore Altherr Molina.
